 On February 27 a Pancake fair was held in our studio. 29,740 rubles and 100 euro was raised. These funds will be spent for Summer Art Camp 2009.
Thank you to everyone who attended and brought friends! Thank you to children and volunteers who made ceramics for the fair! The next fair will be organized for the studio’s anniversary in April. |

  On February 14 we went to Sorochany with a group of boarding school graduates and volunteers for theatrical psychological training.
The program consisted of the show “Hamlet, Prince of Denmark” and outdoor activities. |

.jpg) .jpg) On February 14, St.Valentine’s Day we participated in a special event to a benefit of Children’s Hearts Foundation.
There was a sale of artificial hearts made of ceramics and fabric by our children to raise funds for medical treatment for children with congenital cardiac failure.

.jpg) .jpg) On February 7-8 the training for boarding school #80 took place in the country house of Maria Yelisseyeva and Ilya Segalovich. Children enjoyed sleighing, rolling in the snow and making snowmen. They played psychological and development games and tried billiards for the first time, cooked dinner and supper together with adults and enjoyed playing with dogs. |

  On January 21 and February 6 children from boarding schools ## 4, 80 and 11 together with volunteers were skating on the Red Square. What a wonderful experience for them provided by the administrative authorities of the skating-rink and GUM Company for free. Thank you very much! For some children it was the first opportunity for skating.
And some of them even went to the Red Square for the first time! After skating everyone joined us at the studio for a cup of tea. |

.jpg) On December 2 at APSHU Club our special charitable action “Dry Popa (Fanny)” for collecting diapers for orphanages and hospitals was concluded by the unforgettable celebration “Welcome, New Year!”
As usual our studio was very active. During this period of time only our centre has received about 50 packages of diapers and this was just one of the many centers of collecting. Diapers have been brought in by people of all ages and social positions such as grandmothers and young parents, businessmen and students, companies and families. Some of the items collected at APSHU were brought into our studio and on December 5 our minibus took them to Fryazino Baby House, Moscow Region. On behalf of all the little ones from Fryazino Baby House and its staff, THANK YOU, FRIENDS! People continue to bring us diapers and we are delighted, because “Dry Popa” stopped being just a temporary action and became our constant responsibility. |

  In January three very interesting cooking workshops were taught. Alexander Shishov, volunteer, was making mushroom pie and Bavarian pie with children from boarding schools ## 11 and 80.
Our young volunteers Misha, Artiom and Pasha taught children from boarding school #80 to make sushi. At the end everyone at the studio tasted these delicious dishes. Volunteers who teach children how to cook their favorite dishes are always welcome!

  Our traditional January trip to Beslan took place. It became possible thanks to S7 Company which provided us once again with free tickets to Vladikavkaz and back. During these five days we met new friends, saw old ones, recollected past events. During these five days we put up a show, visited an orphanage and a boarding school. |

.jpg) .jpg) In January and February we visited twice our beloved little ones in Fryazino orphanage. While girls were playing with babies, young men cleaned the pathways from snow. Besides, we brought lots of diapers, clothes and toys with us.
We are thankful to all volunteers who joined these trips. Thank you to those who brought in diapers. We continue to collect them! |
