We are Together at the Festival

On 21 January Maria’s Children took part in the X Anniversary Festival of Applied Arts “We are Together” presenting art of special needs children and youth, having health limitations but with unlimited creative drive! The event took place at the Hall of Ecclesial Assemblies of the Christ the Savior Cathedral.

The space was bright with lively works of the festival participants. All those wishing could also take part in various exciting master-classes. Moreover, everyone could enjoy an unusual concert, at which pop stars sang, danced and played instruments together with children with various disabilities – some were on wheel-chairs, some – aurally and visually challenged. The concert was followed by a sign language translation.

We are happy that the felt picture “Wonderful Mushroom” made by our children and art teachers was highly appreciated by the jury and got the 1st place in the nomination “Make together” for the best collective work. Our students were also awarded diplomas in nominations “The best images of Moscow” and “The best painting”.
