Vasnetsov Museum
Today, the children from the 31st boarding school visited the house-museum of Viktor Mikhailovich Vasnetsov.
Everything was fabulous in this museum: the building, carved antique furniture, and most importantly, the paintings.
After all, the most famous canvases by Vasnetsov were based on Russian fairy tales. “How many years did it take the painter to paint such a large picture?” asked Sasha in awe while looking at the “Sleeping Princess”. He was even more surprised when he found out that it took the painter 26 years to finish this masterpiece.
The Vasnetsov Museum is located close to our studio, so we stopped by to draw and have some tea.
